Timothy Staton-Davis is a Interactive Experience Creator of 8+ years with experience working on AAA games with some of the most talented, creative studios in the industry as well as smaller indie games. From big studios like, Santa Monica Studios, Crystal Dynamics, Monolith, to budding studios like Brass Lion Entertainment, to small indie projects, he has a broad understanding of productions at various scales, how teams collaborate best in-person or remotely, and the creative process. He is currently the CEO “Head Chef” of the Melanated Game Kitchen, a Co-Op indie game development and consultation studio.

Armed with keen observation skills, a deep appreciation for play and interactivity, and a wide breadth of game development experience, no matter how big or small your game (or team) is, Tim will help you navigate the game creation process to realize your game’s vision with the best version of your team.

Naturally curious about social dynamics and culture, Tim has studied culture and it’s influence for all his life. Coming from Southern African-American lineage, he grew up immersed in Black Southern culture. He broadened his knowledge of the African Diaspora through his time attending Howard University “The Mecca” (an HBCU), taking African Studies classes, and continuing to connect with cultural writers across the diaspora. He has network of relationships with various culture researchers across other Diasporas - Latin, Asian, Indian, etc.
